Beautiful Art works on display. Free access to the public, there are donation boxes. There is a nice cafe you can have a rest and replenish your energy.

Excellent place with amazing exhibits, however in the lowry room which is what i was most looking forward to there was a cleaner blaring music and then walked into the quiet room still with this really loud music, was in disbelief.

It’s free, and it’s got some excellent paintings, though I wish the descriptions were more on the context of the paintings rather than some student’s modern view interpretation of them. I also found some of the way the paintings were organised to be unclear on what the overall theme was supposed to be per room.
